Welcome to Lampton Park Preschool - an OFSTED registered preschool which we opened September 2018! A place for children to learn, grow and develop. Our provision is diverse, flexible and inclusive and most importantly offering quality childcare with the child being at the heart of what we stand for.

Every child deserves the opportunity to have access to an inviting environment that encourages curiosity and fun and that is just what we offer. We are located in Lampton Park which also gives us access to lots of outside space!

About Us

Throughout the day...

We offer a rolling snack area which is called our 'calm cafe', this is where children can think and make choices of their own, with us providing a healthy snack. Children are given the opportunity to try a variety of foods as well as learn new skills using a range of tools. This supports children's confidence, self esteem, independence and self-help skills.

Exploring...

There are many different areas where children can explore throughout the day; A home corner, reading garden, small world, creative area, a numeracy and literacy area, our garden and many more. Most importantly the children make their own choice, Children at Lampton park preschool have free choice meaning there are resources available which children can access daily.

At Lampton Park Preschool we also have a small group / quiet room available, this is where we will take small groups of children to complete singing, story and chatterbox times without any distractions weekly throughout the session. This room is also used for children with any Special Educational Needs and where we complete specific strategies and interventions to support their development.

'Learning through play'

We believe being active and playing supports young children’s learning and development through doing and talking. This is how children learn to think about and understand the world around them. We use the EYFS statutory guidance on education programmes to plan and provide opportunities which will help children to make progress in all areas of learning. This programme is made up of a mixture of activities that children plan and organise for themselves and activities planned and led by practitioners.

We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.

Sessions, fees and Funding

Daily Prices

Full day: 09:00 - 16:00 - £70

Morning session: 09:00 - 12:00 £30

Lunch: 12:00 - 13:00 £10

Afternoon session: 13:00 - 16:00 £30

Consumables - nappies, wipes, sun Cream etc - no charges apply -parents are expected to provide these

Extra activities not include in EYFS - Where optional extra activities, experiences, events, or visits are arranged that fall outside the EYFS curriculum, parents/carers will be given advance notice of the activity and any associated charge. Charges will only apply where such activities are planned and communicated to parents/carers in advance - parents can opt out of these charges

Additional charges will only apply where parents/carers choose to access childcare hours in excess of their child's funded entitlement. Any additional hours booked beyond the funded hours will be charged at the nursery's current published rates. Parents/carers will be provided with clear information about any applicable charges before additional hours are agreed and booked.
